The term “Life Cycle Analysis” (LCA) is largely assumed to be the technique used for the assessment of the total environmental impact associated with a product or process. This assumption does, however, neglect the inclusion of the other sustainability pillars which form a total “Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment”— social and economic impacts.
